Met Cousin Jim Kreider This Week
Bernie and I were very happy to met our cousins Jim and Jan Kreider this week. They were in Thousand Oaks and we were able to spend time together getting to know each other. Even though Jim, Jan and I grew up within 15 miles of each other when we were kids back in Ohio, we had never spent time together. Have also included a picture of Bernie and me taken the same evening.

New Photo of Runyan Blog Lady
Hi, Bernie took this photo yesterday in our yard. Save it if you need something to scare the mice away at your house. Worked fine here, but so far those California ants have not been daunted. It's that time of year in CA. Boo!

Photos from the 1932 Runyan Reunion
The following pictures are from the 1932 Runyan Reunion. You can click on the picture for a larger view. The pictures are from my father's (John Runyan Moore) baby book. He also wrote the descriptions.
First the men and boys:
Now the women and girls:
Ola Runyan-4th from the left back row. She was her college's poet. Hazel Runyan Moore-7th adult from the left. Helen Runyan Smith-Last adult on the right. She is standing behind her daughter Lois. To the left of Lois is Marianna Moore. Helen Runyan Smith's other two daughters are the girls in the coats.
Finally, just the children:
In the front row L-R we have Marianna Moore holding Charles Moore, the Moore twins (don't know which is which) with Robert Moore in behind. The two girls beside Marianna are Lois and Betty Smith (daughters of Helen Runyan and Vance Smith)
